Too Good To Be True
Ok, here we go...
It all began the moment I realized that I had actually NEVER posted the new love of my (girl group) life, THE SATURDAYS
-- when suddenly I jumped on youtube...
and searched....
and where I normally come up with this:
I came up with this little gem instead:
This is what the Olympics would be like if they let gays get a hold of the dress rehearsal, and I dunno, let's say the tech rider to a non-equity tour of Legally Blonde: The Musical, and then we'd put on... A... S-H-O-W!
Honey, let's count 'em off:
1. Five Hot Girls, in skimpy dresses, incredibly high heels, singing a killer pop song.
2. They're sprawled across one of those faggy white circular, quilted-banquet-couch thingies (ref: Madonna's Drowned World Tour, What it Feels Like For a Girl set). It's rental furniture, but still gays love furniture.
3. That furniture is on ice.
4. Because they're on a European tv show about Ice Skating.
5. Said tv show is called: Dancing on Ice --and as you can imagine, it's like Dancing with the Stars or something, except they Ice Skate instead.
6. Digital Light Projections on the ice.
7. Pair figure skaters doing things that should frighten you. I mean her head comes so close to the ice I'm puking. It reminds me of "The Cutting Edge". Some tricks are against the rules for a reason!
8. Another pair of skaters... emmm okay. The ice is gonna get crowded, but they'll find their window's and work it out...
9. Oh wait... oh, I see that's how it is. They are fucking Quadruples Skating.
10. Yeah, that just happened.
11. They finished you off with the same camera shot from above from the Danity Kane "Damaged" Video... fine.
Done.
Those are all the reasons it's super gay, super produced, and super perfect.

Hit the Spot Co.
Check out this amazing feature from the NY Times
It's a great interactive piece where the founder of Spot Co. discusses the road to the current Broadway ad campaign for LA CAGE AUX FOLLES.
