GOTHAM CITY

I snapped this photo on my way to drop an envelope off at Logan's stage door. Having just come back above ground from the subway station on 42nd Street, I stopped mid crosswalk at Broadway, and quickly grabbed the shot as the light of on-coming traffic turned green.

Then gothamist.com ran it HERE -- so, that was cool.

Slam Dunk.

In anticipation of the World Basketball Festival, NIKE rolled out this mobile marketing vehicle here on the busy streets of SoHo. Inside guests can create custom pair of Nike/Jordan Converse.

OLiO

OLiO - 3 Greenwich Ave @ West 8th Street

Last week when I first read about OLiO on gothamist.com I was struck by the ginormous, mirrored, disco-ball-like pizza oven hulking in the corner.

Apparently the thing heats up to like a thousand degrees or something, and they only cook the pizzas for 30-45 mother-effing SECONDS.... to achieve this weird crispy/yet doughy paradox that also allows the toppings to remain totally frosh.

Hallsey (@hallcarlo) and I went to check it out for ourselves on Saturday night, and here are the bullet points:

- Cocktail Menu: light summery drinks, all designed for ladies. I had the Aperol Spritzer (Proseco, Aperol, Soda) that was a nice starter, but gimme a better Vodka selection, por favor.

- Table Decor: ditch the pointless Manora-looking candle holders and make a little more room for my plate, thanks.

- Dinner Menu: please re-print in a legible format.... 8 point font is hard to read in the near-dark.

- The Amalfitana Pizza was delish with fresh arugula and lemon slices.

Brrrr....burrrrryyyyyy

Oh god, it hurts so good... Every collection kills me. I especially love the super-tight legs, gladiator sandals, trench coats lapels, and the Motorcycle vest...

GIVE IT TO ME!

Goldie

I once won a goldfish from the Carnival at the State Fair, and that bitch lived for over five years. While she was gorgeous, she sadly was far less talented than these divas:

If The Matrix were a ballet...

It would probably look a lot like this.

At least it's not another boring remake of an 80's dance movie...

Glass House

Really amazing art installation at the World Financial Center Plaza. I did location scouting there a couple of months ago for a project that never took off... it's like a whole other world down there.Click here for the full story.

J'adore

The original version of this song first popped up on my #pandora playlist a few weeks ago, but I just stumbled across this acoustic gem and realized how truly talented the little lady is!

I enjoy her.
